Gulf Georgia provides the fuel for the transportation of humanitarian cargo from Georgia to Turkey for the earthquake victims. The necessary items are being collected under the coordination of the Turkish Embassy.
The Turkish side will distribute the cargo to Turkish and Syrian regions. The transportation begins today, and 16 trailers are planned to be sent in the next few days. Firstly, will be dispatched the most requested items: warm clothes, dry food, baby food, etc. .
The meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, Ali Kaan Orbai, and the Vice President of the Gulf Georgia, Nino Jibladze, took place this morning at the Turkish Embassy.
“We have introduced the intentions of Gulf Georgia to Mr. Ambassador. We will try our best to stand by the neighboring country and contribute to the relief of the victims of this tragic accident. Gulf Georgia will fully cover the costs of the fuel needed for the transportation of the humanitarian cargo,” said Nino Jibladze.
